Job summary

Rocket Lab in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support inventory optimization, supplier relationships, and risk mitigation to balance high product availability with working capital and freight costs. The internship is onsite and supports end-to-end materials flow sustaining production and customer demand.

You will collaborate with mentors and a fast-paced team to apply engineering concepts, track progress in regular 1:1s, and participate in tech talks and networking events

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate program in an engineering discipline, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Operations Management and have at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge and grow skills technically and professionally under mentorship.
• Work with a fast-paced group to apply engineering and industry concepts to real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning while providing progress updates.
• Engage in tech talks and network with interns and employees through events.
