Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Supply Chain Intern at our Silver Spring, Maryland site. You will support inventory optimization, supplier relationships, and risk mitigation to balance product availability with working capital and freight costs.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an engineering, supply chain, or related program, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and at least 3 months of supply chain experience. This is a full-time, on-site internship for 12+ weeks starting early 2027.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or doctorate program in an engineering discipline, supply chain, business administration or operations management with at least one semester remaining.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory optimization and supplier relationships under mentorship.
• Assist in mitigating operational risks to balance availability with costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
• Participate in regular check-ins with mentors and leaders.
