Job summary

Rocket Lab USA in Long Beach, California is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationships while delivering critical hardware for space systems.

You will work with mentors, apply engineering and industry concepts to real challenges, and participate in regular progress updates. The program runs full-time on-site for at least 12 weeks starting May/June 2027, with relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or博士 program in an engineering discipline, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Operations Management and have at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a mentor and department peers to apply knowledge and grow technical and professional skills.
• Support sourcing, procuring parts, supplier relationships, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Participate in frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to track progress and learning.
• Attend tech talks and network with interns and employees through events.
