Qualifications

• Model development and validation for remote sensing domains.
• Decompose complex systems into components with defined interfaces and requirements.
• Experience from concept through test and delivery to customers.
• Strong lab skills with rapid prototyping and DOE/test equipment.
• Willingness to travel to test sites as needed.
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define system architectures via detailed trade studies and analyses.
• Develop physics-based models of sensor performance and derive requirements.
• Lead prototype sensor systems in lab environments.
• Support lab and field experiments and demonstrations.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and mission teams to deliver high-performance systems.
