Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• BS or higher in a related technical field.
• 5+ years designing signal processing algorithms for EO/IR in aerospace/defense.
• Strong EO/IR phenomenology knowledge.
• Experience with detection, filtering, and measurement generation.
• Production deployment experience.
• Collaborative cross-team work.

Responsibilities

• Develop discrimination algorithms for EO/IR sensors in real‑time environments.
• Design signal processing pipelines including detection, feature extraction, and measurement generation.
• Develop and integrate advanced decision logic to improve classification performance.
• Analyze EO/IR phenomenology and optimize for noise, SNR, and environmental effects.
• Build and run physics-based modeling and Monte Carlo analyses; perform HIL testing.
• Create analysis tools to assess discrimination under countermeasures and clutter.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineers to productionize algorithms.
• Engage with customers to understand mission needs and demonstrate system performance.
