Astranis Space Technologies seeks a Reliability Test Intern for Summer 2027 to work on challenging hardware tests for satellite systems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Strong interest in hardware reliability and hands-on testing.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan reliability tests for satellite hardware.
• Support test plan and procedure development based on design specifications and mission profiles.
• Set up, operate, and monitor environmental test equipment (thermal chambers, vacuum systems, vibration tables).
• Execute reliability tests such as thermal cycling,thermal vacuum, and vibration.
• Collect, analyze, and document test data to identify failure modes and ensure targets are met.
• Design test fixtures and data acquisition setups.
