Astranis Space Technologies Corp. invites students to join as Reliability Test Intern (Winter 2027).

Internships are twelve weeks, hourly roles for students enrolled in a four-year university, offering hands-on hardware reliability projects and meaningful contribution to satellites heading to space. As an Intern, you will plan tests, operate environmental equipment, analyze data, and help ensure hardware meets reliability targets; on-site 5 days per week and potential transition to full-time

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
Interest in hardware reliability, testing, and hands-on engineering in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing project needs.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan reliability tests for satellite hardware.
Support test plan development based on design specs and mission profiles.
Set up, operate, and monitor environmental test equipment (thermal chambers, TAM, vacuum systems, vibration tables).
Execute reliability tests (thermal cycling, vacuum, vibration) and document results.
Design fixtures, setup instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
