Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Senior Procurement Operations Specialist to own day-to-day procurement activities across the Interplanetary Sciences Program. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, and Quality to move hardware procurement from vendor setup to contract closeout.

This cross-functional role requires exceptional organization, the ability to manage multiple suppliers and orders, and a hands-on approach to process

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, and vendor management experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate across Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Own vendor onboarding and supplier setup with proper approvals.
• Coordinate RFQs, supplier quotes, and purchase requests.
• Create, route, and track purchase orders and contracts.
• Drive contract execution, amendments, renewals, and closeouts.
• Coordinate cross-functional approvals across Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Quality.
• Maintain supplier records and purchasing information.
• Track procurement actions and prevent schedule delays.
