Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. is seeking a Senior Procurement Operations Specialist to own day-to-day procurement activities for the Interplanetary Sciences Program.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Quality, and suppliers to move hardware procurement from kickoff to PO, invoicing, and closeout. This highly cross-functional role requires exceptional organization, the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams, and a drive to accelerate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, contracts, supply chain, vendor management, or related operational function.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers, POs, contracts, and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional coordination experience.
• Ownership and follow-through across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own vendor onboarding and supplier setup, ensuring documentation and approvals are completed on time.
• Coordinate RFQs, supplier quotes, purchase requests, and procurement documentation.
• Create and track purchase orders, contracts, and procurement agreements.
• Drive contract execution, amendments, renewals, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional approvals across Engineering, Legal, Finance, Quality, and Procurement.
• Maintain supplier records, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Track open procurement actions and follow up to prevent delays.
• Resolve invoice, payment, and PO discrepancies with Finance and suppliers.
• Maintain procurement records, reporting and status tracking.
• Support procurement across multiple spacecraft, payload, and hardware programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and efficiency as the program scales.
