Job summary

Vast is seeking a Procurement Coordinator, Indirect, to enhance supply chain operations related to space station development. The role is full-time based in Long Beach, Los Angeles, and involves managing purchase orders, supplier relationship management, and ensuring procurement policies adherence.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3+ years of experience in procurement, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle high-stress situations. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of procurement experience.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Tactical purchase order placement and open order management.
• Support Vast Supplier management including various oversight tasks.
• Assist with consistent communication and resolution of supply chain issues.
• Manage and drive supplier issue ticket resolution and billing discrepancies.
• Enables Procurement team to focus on high-value tasks.
