Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. seeks a Mechanical Associate Engineer for Summer 2027. This twelve-week, salaried internship offers hands-on work on satellite hardware and software with the engineering team.

You will design, build, and test hardware from scratch, leveraging CAD and fast-paced development. A four-year degree in mechanical, aerospace, or equivalent technical field is required, with U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status mandatory.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in mechanical, aerospace, or equivalent technical degree (e.g. physics or applied math).
• A passion and enthusiasm for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development.
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Work together with the engineering team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and/or software.
