Job summary

Astranis is seeking a Mechanical Associate Engineer for a Winter 2027 internship in Northern California. You will work with the engineering team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and/or software, contributing to space-grade projects while learning from engineering teams.

Applicants should have a four-year degree in mechanical or aerospace fields and a passion for hands-on hardware development. U.S. citizenship or eligible status is required for ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or protected status under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
• Four-year degree in mechanical, aerospace, or equivalent technical degree.
• Passion for hardware development and hands-on design.
• Ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
