Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Component Engineer in Huntsville, AL. You will work on a broad range of hardware projects, evaluating electrical/electronic/electromechanical parts and preparing technical reports while collaborating with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement teams.

You will participate in component selection, testing and failure analysis, and support PMPCB meetings. A Secret clearance is required, and the role involves both lab and manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Background in Electrical/Electronic/Electromechanical parts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hardware development, manufacturing and testing tasks for EEE components.
• Prepare specifications, evaluate suppliers, and analyze test reports.
• Coordinate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement teams.
• Oversee Subcontractor EEE Components and NSARs at PMPCB meetings.
