Job summary

Peraton seeks an Engineering Technician to join the SENSE contract in Mount Laguna, CA, supporting NASA MOBLAS operations and RF satellite communications. You will operate the MOBLAS-4 station, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with a remote engineering team to ensure data integrity and system reliability.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, an AS/AA degree or equivalent, and experience with ground systems or console operation.

Qualifications

• AS/AA degree and 2+ years of related experience, or 2 years of technical training and 2+ years of related experience, or HS/GED and 6 years of related experience.
• 1 year of related experience as a ground system or console operator.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MOBLAS-4 station 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, typical shift 6am–2pm.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on all systems per procedures.
• Conduct regular ground tests to calibrate instrumentation.
