Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring a Software Engineer for Space Ground Software to build, deploy, and operate command-and-control software for space missions. You will develop modular capabilities on the Lattice platform for DoD and IC customers across space domains, interfacing with legacy and new space systems.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, secure cloud deployment, and collaboration with multiple teams to deliver robust space C2 services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building backend and distributed systems with Go, Rust or C++.
• Production services on containers/Kubernetes with CI/CD experience.
• Integrating software with hardware or real-time pipelines.
• Able to navigate complex systems with strong communication.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own software solutions end-to-end from design to production.
• Build and operate backend services across Space C2 stack.
• Write and evolve protobuf API contracts with teams.
• Deploy and run services in secure government cloud.
• Integrate with spacecraft and ground infrastructure.
• Create SITL simulations to validate end-to-end operations.
• Review teammates' code and uphold quality.
• Collaborate across teams to plan and test features.
• Analyze metrics, triage issues, and drive next steps.
• Partner with end-users to translate needs into features.
