Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineer for Space Ground Software to build, deploy, and operate command-and-control software that flies real space missions. You will develop modular capabilities on the Anduril Lattice platform, supporting DoD and IC customers across orbital and ground systems.

You will work on end‑to‑end services, integrate with legacy systems, and participate in on‑call and incident response for live missions in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building backend and distributed systems, with Go, Rust, or C++
• Experience shipping and operating production services on containers/Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with gRPC/Protobuf and API design
• Ability to integrate software with hardware/space systems and operate in secure environments

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end software solutions from design through production
• Build and operate backend services across the Space C2 stack (Go, gRPC/Protobuf)
• Deploy and run services in secure government cloud on containers/Kubernetes
• Integrate with spacecraft and ground infrastructure and perform SITL simulations
• Contribute to code reviews and cross‑team collaboration
• Develop and monitor telemetry, metrics, and incident response for live missions
