Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Chief Software Engineer for Space Ground Systems to lead ground C2 architectures supporting Space Domain Awareness and space control. This senior role spans design, build, test, and delivery of operational ground segments, with emphasis on distributed backend systems and mission data processing in simulated and live environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record architecting defense/IC ground systems for satellite C2.
• Deep SDA ground processing and space control workflows experience.
• Expertise in satellite C2 architectures and telemetry pipelines across orbital regimes.
• Experience with defense accreditation (DISA STIGs, NIST RMF) and air‑gapped deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide system‑level technical leadership across ground C2 architecture and mission data processing.
• Act as the technical authority to ensure program integrity and alignment with customer needs.
• Lead architecture development for SDA ground processing, space control C2 systems, and RPO missions.
• Drive lifecycle for ground segments from architecture to deployment in classified environments.
• Leverage partnerships to build new ground products for contested environments.
• Contribute to proposals with cost estimates, risk assessments, and trade studies.
• Mentor a multidisciplinary team through all program phases to sustainment.
• Perform trade studies balancing risk, cost, and performance.
