Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. in Quincy, MA is hiring a Software Engineer for Maritime Integrated Systems. You will design scalable software for robotic and vehicle platforms and work across domains to deliver end-to-end capabilities.

The role requires advanced software engineering skills, the ability to own services, and willingness to travel up to 20% to support end-users and teams. A U.S. security clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer across domains/technologies.
• System and/or application programming skills including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, infrastructure, software design and system design.
• Experience troubleshooting remotely deployed software systems.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Experience delivering a military mission system (preferred).
• Frontend experience with Typescript and React (preferred).
• Experience with cloud technologies (preferred).
• Experience with embedded software in robotics (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and drive solutions in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, delivering value.
• Design and implement scalable software with a clear evolution path.
• Develop reusable components across Anduril product lines.
• Create software that runs on- and off- robotic platforms.
• Shape development processes for vehicle and mission software lifecycle and testing.
• Create test and simulation fixtures for software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Mentor Software Engineers from differing backgrounds.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users.
