Job summary

Solestial in Tempe, AZ, is building next‑generation solar modules for space. As a Process Technician, you will follow established manufacturing processes, operate tools, and support engineers moving toward high‑volume production.

You will monitor process data, troubleshoot alarms, perform basic maintenance, ensure safety, and maintain a cleanroom compliant workspace. A strong hands‑on background in assembling small components and 3+ years in a related field are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher in STEM preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in an R&D or advanced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a Class 1,000 cleanroom environment.
• Hands-on experience assembling small, delicate components with strong manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build photovoltaic (PV) modules according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Safely operate manufacturing tools and equipment to support production goals and product quality.
• Monitor equipment operation, process parameters, and system alarms.
• Collect and document process data; make decisions based on established procedures to maintain process control.
• Identify abnormal conditions, escalate issues appropriately, and communicate recommendations effectively.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges.
