Job summary

Espace is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time position in Saratoga, California, focused on low Earth orbit (LEO) space systems. This role involves IP integration and verification, ensuring hardware-software integration and implementing security features.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and experience in hardware description languages, as well as a comprehensive understanding of SoC architecture and verification methodologies. A competitive salary of $150,000 to $220,000 is offered along with benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in RTL design and verification using SystemVerilog and/or VHDL.
• Experience with UVM or a similar structured verification methodology.
• Ability to write bare-metal C firmware for hardware bring-up, feature validation, and test automation on embedded targets.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, integrate, and verify IP blocks within the SoC.
• Define, implement, and maintain system-level testbenches for verification.
• Implement hardware security features like secure boot and cryptographic integration.
• Work with SoC firmware engineers and document integration processes.
