Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer (PCB/PCBA) to lead supplier readiness for rocket parts and assemblies. You will own new part introductions, identify suppliers, and establish reliable ramp plans for parts that are new, changing, or being re-sourced.

The role requires deep electronics fabrication knowledge, including PCBs, laminates, PCBAs, and related processes, with a focus on minimizing risk and enabling Mars-related programs through rigorous supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 1+ years in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Experience with electronics manufacturing systems and PCBA processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for rocket parts and assemblies at suppliers.
• Own NPI of new parts, review suppliers, and ramp manufacturing.
• Collaborate with design, R&D, and production teams to manage product portfolio.
• Analyze data to drive improvements in manufacturability, lead times and costs.
• Lead containment and root-cause actions for supplier quality gaps.
