Job summary
SEAKR Engineering in Centennial, Colorado is seeking a mid-level Embedded Software Engineer to join a fast-paced team. You will own feature development and work with minimal supervision on critical space-grade projects.
The role requires strong fundamentals in low-level programming, C/C++ and Python, plus knowledge of OS concepts, networking basics, and problem solving. Experience with embedded Linux and space-grade systems is a plus; relocation not specified.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of embedded systems experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or CS or equivalent.
- Solid OS concepts: kernel vs user space, scheduling, memory management, synchronization.
- Proficiency in Python, C and/or C++, including OO principles.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, MAC addresses, packet inspection tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software in C/C++ for constrained environments.
- Implement state machines and handle interrupts and signals.
- Work with OS concepts including process scheduling, resource sharing, and synchronization.
- Integrate networking capabilities into embedded devices (TCP/IP basics).
