Job summary

SEAKR Engineering in Centennial, CO is seeking an embedded software engineer (junior to mid-level) to design and develop embedded software in constrained environments using C/C++. The role requires on-site work with some hybrid flexibility and offers a path to advanced skills.

You will implement state machines, handle asynchronous events, and work with OS concepts such as scheduling, memory management, and synchronization.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years in embedded systems development.
• Core OS Knowledge: understanding of kernel vs user space, task scheduling, memory management, synchronization.
• Programming Languages: proficiency in Python, C and/or C++, including OO concepts.
• Networking Basics: familiarity with TCP/IP, MAC addresses, packet inspection tools.
• Autonomy: ability to solve problems independently within tasks.
• Documentation: ability to learn from specs and adapt to new protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software using C/C++ in constrained environments.
