Job summary

AV is seeking a motivated engineer or physicist to join the SpaceTech division as a Components (EEE) Parts Engineer. You will learn to select electronics for the harsh space environment, guided by senior technical authorities, and ensure passive and active components survive mission-critical operations.

You will collaborate with design, procurement, and quality teams to track parts from design to deployment, while learning about MIL-STD and radiation-tolerant requirements for space systems and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Experience with and exposure to electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical components.
  • Interest in radiation-hardened electronics and space environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in identifying and qualifying components (passives, actives, ICs, high-speed digital, power, etc.).
  • Learn to interpret military/space standards (MIL-STD, EEE-INST, PEM-INST) for screening and qualification.
  • Act as a technical link between design engineering, procurement, and quality teams to track component lifecycle.
