Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking an EEE Parts Component Engineer to lead parts selection, obsolescence management, and quality control for space programs.

You will work with design, supply chain, and reliability teams to ensure design compliance and timely production support. The role emphasizes knowledge of component standards, PCN and GIDEP alerts, and data management, with opportunities to influence part standardization and supplier roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience; graduate degree with 6+ years, or 15+ years without a degree.
• Experience with component obsolescence tools and methods.
• Experience with end-of-life management, COTS, and counterfeit parts.
• Experience in setting up EDM and Parts Management practices.
• Understanding EEE parts qualification and screening requirements.
• Knowledge of JEDEC, EIA, IPC standards and NASA/ESA space standards.
• Knowledge of ECMP and quality assurance practices for electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Lead parts selection, parts management, and PCN/GIDEP impact reviews.
• Guide teams on obsolescence, counterfeit parts, and component screening.
• Coordinate with engineering, supplier, and QA to ensure design compliance.
• Drive part standardization and reuse in the ECAD database.
• Maintain PCN reviews and part number management across programs.
