Job summary

SMX is seeking BLUEFOR Exercise Planners to support US Space Forces Indo-Pacific (SFI). As an Exercise Planner you will provide high-level subject matter expertise to lead the integration of space domain effects for Blue Forces into theater-level exercises.

This position requires a current DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI which requires US citizenship. You will lead and facilitate all phases of the exercise planning cycle and develop MSELs to ensure SFI executes

Qualifications

  • Must have current DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with allies and partner nations.
  • Highly organized with tracking multiple processes and data for multiple countries.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer focused.
  • Capacity to learn new systems rapidly and adapt quickly to change.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate all phases of the exercise planning cycle, from concept development to exercise execution.
  • Develop Master Scenario Event Lists (MSEL) focused on SFI and Blue Forces.
  • Act as ECG member or white cell member to ensure MSEL objectives are met.
  • Post-Exercise Analysis: Author After-Action Reports identifying capability gaps in space-integrated C2 and communications.
