Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Linthicum, Maryland is seeking an early-career engineer to support on-orbit operations and maintenance for a constellation of Space RADAR satellites. Responsibilities include monitoring telemetry, coding tools, and performing tests with on-orbit payloads and simulators.

You will develop software tools for data analysis, contribute to anomaly resolution, and potentially work on RF/radar environments.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 2 years of aerospace/defense development or test experience; MS degree acceptable.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance required and SCI access potential.
• Coding skills in MATLAB and/or Python; willingness to support shift work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, trend, and analyze satellite and payload telemetry during ops shifts.
• Code/develop tools to analyze payload data for debugging and performance evaluation.
• Develop/improve/operate custom software tools for trending, testing, analysis, and workflow.
• Assist with discrepancy adjudication and anomaly resolution.
