Job summary

University of Virginia is seeking a student intern to assist the Space and Facilities Planning team in collecting, verifying, and entering space utilization data across SOM facilities in Charlottesville. The role supports space planning, forecasting, and asset documentation within an academic environment.

The position offers approx. 10 hours per week; hourly rate is $20.00, with potential extension beyond May 8, 2027.

• Facility Walkthroughs: document current room usage, space types, and room assignments.
• Engagement with departments to confirm operational use and gather contextual details.
• Data Entry and Reporting: compile findings into reports and reconcile records.
• Collaboration and Documentation: participate in regular check-ins and maintain notes and photos.
