Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent; 4-5 Year Apprenticeship or Equivalent Experience; Journeyman per union rules.
• Familiar with standard pipefitting practices, materials, and tools.
• Able to adapt to changes in codes and standards and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and install pipe systems for steam, hot water, heating, and cooling.
• Read distribution maps and drawings to determine materials and procedures.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently in daily tasks.
• Cooperate with other trades and departments to identify parts and requisitions.
• Perform regular stock inventories and material requisitions as needed.
