Job summary

Relativity Space in Cape Canaveral, FL is seeking a skilled pipe fitter on the Launch Team to fabricate and fit critical piping systems supporting the Terran R launch site. You will work with engineering, fabrication, and construction teams to install piping safely and to exacting standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial piping, can read isometrics and P&IDs, and can coordinate with trades. This on-site role requires physical work, safety focus, and the ability to mentor junior

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional pipe fitting, fabrication, construction, or mechanical experience.
• Ability to read isometric drawings, P&IDs, blueprints, spool drawings, dimensions, elevations, and piping specifications.
• Hands-on experience with measuring, layout, cutting, beveling, grinding, drilling, fit-up, alignment, and preparation of pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, supports, and other piping components.
• Experience fabricating and installing carbon steel, stainless steel, and other piping systems to meet project specs and safety requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with other trades and mentor less-experienced pipe fitters to ensure safe, compliant work.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and fit critical piping systems to support Terran R launch operations.
• Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and construction teams to ensure safe, accurate installations.
• Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, blueprints, and piping specifications to plan layouts.
• Identify and troubleshoot fit-up or installation issues and resolve field challenges efficiently.
