Job summary

Nova Space Solutions, LLC is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to support planning, design, analysis, and construction oversight for new and existing facilities at Stennis Space Center, MS. The role involves independent project work under a lead engineer and collaboration with multi-discipline teams.

The position requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, 1–3 years of experience, and familiarity with relevant codes. Occasional travel to Michoud Assembly Facility, LA may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited university
• 1–3 years of related civil-structural design experience; Master’s degree may substitute
• Familiarity with ASCE, AISC, ACI, AIBC/ICC and related codes and standards
• Experience with design software and structural analysis tools
• U.S. citizenship required for NASA badge eligibility

Responsibilities

• Develop civil/structural designs for new or modified facilities.
• Prepare design proposals with cost and schedule estimates.
• Create structural analysis models and simulations for facility systems.
• Review vendor submittals and RFIs to finalize designs for construction.
• Read and create fabrication drawings and understand structural materials.
