Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Engineer to support USSF Mission Delta 3. You will work on space EW systems across acquisition lifecycles, providing technical guidance and leadership for high-impact programs.

This on-site role is based in Colorado Springs, CO or El Segundo, CA. Minimum requirements include a TS/SCI clearance, 12+ years in NSS/defense systems engineering, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or related STEM field.
8+ years in NSS or defense systems engineering roles.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Ability to articulate complex technical issues to diverse audiences.
Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%.
Current TS/SCI clearance with SAP access eligibility.

Responsibilities

Shape the future of space electromagnetic warfare by guiding acquisition activities.
Perform systems analysis to identify risks and gaps across space and ground architectures.
Develop processes for dynamic sustainment of SEW assets.
Collaborate across program and stakeholder boundaries to support roadmaps and vendor proposals.
Author guidance and deliver system assessments to support acquisition milestones.
Provide operational direction across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
