Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Space Imaging team to define the electrical architecture of spaceborne EO/IR sensor payloads and lead integration from concept to flight hardware.

You will design isolated power, EMI/EMC protection, and high‑speed interfaces, work with a cross‑functional team, and mentor small engineering groups through bring‑up and verification testing. A U.S. Secret security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of experience designing power, interface, or mixed‑signal electronics for space, airborne, or defense systems.
• Experience with isolated DC/DC power conversion, EMI filters, and transient/over‑voltage protection.
• Familiarity with MIL‑STD‑461/464 EMI/EMC design and test methods.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the electrical architecture of EO/IR sensor payloads, including power distribution and interfaces.
• Design, analyze, test isolated power conversion and EMI filtering for low‑voltage DC systems.
• Select connectors, define pin assignments, perform derating analyses, and establish shielding and bonding schemes for EMI/EMC compliance.
• Support EMI/EMC qualification testing and ESD protection design.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, optical, and systems engineers to integrate designs and perform bring‑up and verification testing.
