Anduril Industries in Goleta, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Space Imaging team to define electrical architecture for EO/IR sensor payloads, including power distribution, interfaces, EMI/EMC protection, and flight-ready hardware concepts. You will work with a cross-disciplinary team to bring designs from concept through prototypes, ready for flight.

Formación

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years designing power, interface, or mixed-signal electronics for harsh environments.
• Experience with isolated DC/DC power conversion, EMI filters, and protection circuits.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-461/464 EMI/EMC design and test methods.
• Connector selection, pin/harness definition, and derating analysis.
• Strong hardware debugging using standard lab equipment.
• US Person status for export controlled data; eligible for DoD clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own the electrical architecture for EO/IR sensor payloads, including power distribution and interfaces.
• Design and validate isolated power conversion and EMI/EMC protection circuits.
• Select connectors, define pin assignments, and perform derating analyses.
• Develop high-speed Ethernet (10GbE) and RS-422 interfaces between sensor electronics and host avionics.
• Support EMI/EMC qualification testing and ESD protection design.
• Select radiation-tolerant components for space/tactical environments.
• Perform parts stress/derating analyses for reliability across mission life.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, optical, and systems engineers for bring-up and verification.
• Create and execute test procedures using lab equipment to validate performance requirements.
• Potentially lead small engineering teams from concept through system definition.
