Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an Electrical and Electronics Test Technician in Midland, Texas to perform functional, environmental, and diagnostic testing on electrical components and systems. You will work closely with engineers to troubleshoot issues and ensure compliance with design specs and regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in electronics or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 2+ years in electrical/electronic test environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, analog/digital circuits, and electrical measurement principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and electronic testing of components, subassemblies, and final products according to engineering specifications and test procedures.
• Operate and maintain automated and manual test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and specialized test setups.
• Conduct functional, continuity, insulation resistance, hipot, and performance testing.
• Assist in environmental testing, including thermal cycling, vibration, burn-in, and other reliability assessments.
• Record test results accurately in logs, reports, or databases to ensure traceability and compliance.
