Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an Electrical and Electronics Test Technician to perform functional, environmental, and diagnostic testing on electrical components, assemblies, and systems. Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics or related field.
• 2+ years in electrical/electronic test environments preferred.
• Familiarity with test data collection software or ERP/MES systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and electronic testing according to specs and procedures.
• Operate automated and manual test equipment such as scopes, DMMs, and generators.
• Conduct functional, insulation resistance, hipot, and performance testing.
• Assist in environmental testing including thermal cycling and vibration.
• Interpret schematics and test plans to execute procedures.
• Identify and troubleshoot failures; document findings and actions.
• Record results in logs or databases for traceability.
• Support engineering during product development and validation.
• Maintain calibration, safety, and readiness of test stations.
• Follow ESD, safety, and cleanroom protocols where applicable.
• Help improve test fixtures and documentation.
