Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking Space Electronics Test Systems Design Engineers (Associate/Experienced/Lead) to join the Special Test Equipment (STE) group for Space Electronics in El Segundo, CA. You will help design, build, verify, and sustain space-grade electronics for satellites and space platforms.

You will contribute to cut‑edge programs like WGS and MUOS, with responsibilities spanning hardware and software development, test automation, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain U.S. security clearance.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, physics, math, data science or computer science.
• Experience in power/digital/RF electronics test equipment design OR software architecture and coding.
• Minimum two years engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full lifecycle development of STE for space applications: architecture, design, prototyping, integration, verification, delivery.
• Hardware or software development role based on candidate expertise; cross-discipline capability not required.
• Develop automation/control software and data acquisition for automated test stations (LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C#, etc.).
• Support design reviews, configuration management, and verification/qualification test plans.
• Troubleshoot during integration and environmental testing; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Contribute to proposals and capture activities including scope, cost, and risk.
