Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer to support a Special Test Equipment (STE) Team for Space Systems. The role focuses on design, mixed-signal analysis, prototyping, and testing across the electronics domain.

You will work in a cross‑functional environment to develop and improve STEs, electronic assemblies, and power/signal architectures for space applications, reading schematics and selecting components to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field.
• 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3+ years of job-related experience.
• Proficiency with electrical engineering CAD tools.
• Experience with mixed-signal circuit analysis and design.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical or electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret circuit card schematics.
• Experience with electronics design, design architectures, assemblies, and component selection.
• R&D experience involving concept development, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of Special Test Equipment (STE) for Space Systems applications.
• Develop and analyze electrical and mixed-signal circuit designs using electrical engineering CAD tools.
• Perform circuit analysis, electronics design, component selection, and design architecture development.
• Read and interpret circuit card schematics to support design, test, and troubleshooting activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, circuit cards, assemblies, and test equipment.
• Support research and development activities from concept and modeling through prototyping and testing.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve electronic design architectures, assemblies, and components.
• Work across engineering disciplines to support electrical design, development, integration, and test activities.
