Job summary

Trident Systems in Chantilly, VA is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer to support board-level and system-level testing. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, documentation of real-time issues, and collaboration with design engineers to ensure hardware meets specifications.

The candidate will work across functional teams and participate in continuous improvement, with shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd as needed at a Chantilly location.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems or Aerospace Engineering.
• 0-2+ years of related experience.
• Familiarity with printed circuit assemblies and electrical test.
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer).
• Demonstrated ability to learn new/proprietary software quickly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support system requirements verification through the program life cycle.
• Develop verification and validation plans and test procedures.
• Conduct functional testing of electronic components and systems.
• Perform environmental testing (thermal vacuum, vibration, EMC) to simulate space conditions.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, RF, hardware, and program management.
• Train and mentor Test Techs as needed.
