Job summary

Assurance Technology Corporation (ATC) is seeking a self-motivated Electrical Technician to advance careers in developing high-technology electronics for space and communications.

You will join a small, highly effective team to assemble and test electrical and RF systems, contributing to design from concept to fielded applications for projects such as custom mobile communications systems and satellite ground terminals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role.
• Experience with fine pitch and small gauge soldering, PCB assembly, and cable/connector assembly.
• Experience with RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters).
• Experience with RF system components installation and upgrades.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows; Visio/Project desirable.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and connect system components (cables).
• Configure electronic and RF systems and devices.
• Quality assurance testing.
• Build prototype models from schematics and technical guidelines.
• Monitor and report on project progress.
• Test system functionality and analyze data.
• Repair malfunctions in circuitry and system structures.
• Collaborate with engineers on technical tasks.
• Some travel (CONUS and OCONUS) expected.
