Job summary

AST SpaceMobile seeks an Associate RF Assembly, Integration, and Test Engineer to build, integrate, verify, and troubleshoot flight RF hardware for a fast‑paced LEO program. You will work hands‑on from schematics to launch, partnering with TT&C and GPS leads to translate released designs into flight‑ready hardware.

This role emphasizes bench validation, on‑floor manufacturing, test automation, and readiness for launch operations, with duties on RF racks, coax assemblies, and EMI/RFI debugging

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on RF experience.
• Demonstrated hands‑on RF experience across TT&C frequency bands and RF subsystems, including antennas and coax.
• Experience supporting AIT and environmental test campaigns, and production manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Execute integration and verification testing for TT&C and GPS flight hardware.
• Own hands‑on integration and test of flight radios, antennas, RF harnesses, and GSE.
• Fabricate, inspect, and validate coaxial cable assemblies and connector terminations.
• Develop and maintain RF test automation to improve throughput and traceability.
• Support environmental and system tests including TVAC, vibration, and thermal cycling.
• Own RF anomaly resolution and corrective rework under schedule pressure.
