Job summary
Lockheed Martin Space in Huntsville, AL is seeking a full-time Environmental Safety & Health Engineer (Compliance) to assess operations for safety and environmental compliance and to support programs with field activities.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's or higher in safety, environmental, or industrial hygiene disciplines or related engineering/scientific degrees, be able to travel, and be eligible for a Secret clearance and US citizenship.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in applicable or related safety, environmental, and/or industrial hygiene discipline, or related engineering/scientific degree.
- Ability to travel occasionally and obtain Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship required and ability to obtain security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Review operations to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, or industrial hygiene standards and regulations.
- Provide critical support to programs and operations to ensure environmental and safety standards are met.
- Conduct field activities in support of LM Space injury prevention and environmental compliance programs.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and teamwork, and adapt to ordnance protocol/requirements.
