Job summary

Centuria in Dahlgren, VA seeks a Network Administrator Jr to support the Space Domain Awareness program at a government facility. This on-site role requires TS/SCI clearance and familiarity with DoD network policies.

You will assist with LAN/WAN operations, configure Cisco/Juniper gear, maintain NIPRNet/SIPRNet connectivity, and ensure STIG-compliant security posture. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• High School degree and/or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–3 years in operations and maintenance or contractor support.
• Familiarity with classified information handling and security processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analyzing, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating existing network systems (LAN/WAN) or segments.
• Provide network operations, maintenance, administration, and management services for NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
• Follow DISA STIGs and CND guidelines for security implementation.
• Monitor and maintain network hardware (Juniper, Cisco) and other equipment.
• Plan and test installation, configuration, and testing of network equipment.
• Manage firewall rules and access procedures (PPSM processes).
• Secure networks by implementing access controls and documenting configurations.
• Perform fault isolation and hardware repair.
• Load, configure, and install OS/firmware on network devices.
• Support installation and relocation of network infrastructure as required.
