Ramon.Space is seeking a Digital Module Design Engineer to lead the development of digital modules for space applications. You will plan, design, verify, and release modules built around FPGAs, microprocessors, and memory technologies, with a focus on SI/PI, fault tolerance, and space standards.

The role involves hands-on bring-up, hardware validation, and participation in design reviews. A strong lab background and collaboration in a fast-paced, hybrid environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• 7+ years designing digital electronics for space or high‑reliability systems.
• Experience delivering flight‑qualified hardware for various orbits.
• Strong experience with FPGAs, microprocessors, memory components and high‑speed interfaces.
• Extensive knowledge of circuit design and signal/power integrity.
• Proficiency with Altium, CST and SIWave.
• Hands‑on lab experience with scopes and logic analyzers.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design digital modules from definition to implementation, bring-up, qualification and release.
• Design planning, schematic design, layout guidance, analysis (SI/PI) and test/verification.
• Work with FPGAs, microprocessors, memory components and space-grade interfaces.
• Create bring-up plans and perform hardware verification until production release.
• Present technical materials for internal and customer design reviews.
• Review others' designs and manage schematic/layout tool flow.
