Job summary

Ramon.Space is expanding its U.S. presence and seeks a Technical Lead to coordinate engineering activities across hardware, software, FPGA, and test teams. You will unblock integration work, manage dependencies, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality space systems.

The role combines hands-on lab involvement with program reviews and customer meetings. The ideal candidate has a strong systems and hardware background, excels in cross-functional collaboration, and can travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in engineering development, integration, or technical leadership roles.
• Strong technical foundation in systems engineering, digital hardware, embedded software, FPGA development, integration, and test.
• Hands-on lab experience with hardware bring-up, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to manage technical dependencies, risks, and schedule drivers.
• Experience executing trade studies and documenting technical decisions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project, IMS development, Jira workflows, and EAC inputs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical context clearly.
• Experience supporting government customers, primes, or commercial space organizations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain alignment with program priorities and IMS by coordinating cross-discipline needs and milestones.
• Serve as a cross-functional technical floater to resolve issues and provide hands-on support.
• Identify obstacles early and drive mitigation actions to closure.
• Decompose work into clear engineering activities and maintain accurate IMS/Jira status.
• Drive technical decision processes and document outcomes.
• Provide hands-on support in lab setups, dry runs, and execution-critical activities.
• Lead point of contact for all engineering disciplines to ensure tools and resources are available.
