Job summary

Advanced Space is seeking a 2027 DevOps Summer Intern to join our DevOps team and gain hands-on experience supporting cloud infrastructure, automation, and development tools that enable mission-focused software.

You'll work with mentors to contribute to cloud operations, infrastructure reliability, and secure software development practices while learning modern DevOps workflows used to support aerospace missions.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related technical discipline.
Foundational understanding of computer programming, operating systems, and software development practices.
Interest in cloud computing, infrastructure, automation, cybersecurity, and DevOps.
Experience with or exposure to Git and version control systems.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line environments.

Responsibilities

Support DevOps and cloud infrastructure initiatives.
Work on summer projects to improve workflows, infrastructure reliability, and productivity.
Gain hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools.
Learn cloud and automation practices using AWS, IaC, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
Present project results through reports and presentations.
