Job summary
Advanced Space invites applications for a 2027 DevOps Summer Intern to join our team in Westminster, Colorado. You will support cloud infrastructure, automation, and practices that enable mission‑focused software development, gaining hands‑on experience under guidance from experienced staff.
The role targets students in CS/SE/IS/cybersecurity and related fields, with exposure to cloud, Linux, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a technical degree in a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of programming, operating systems, and software development practices.
- Interest in cloud computing, infrastructure, automation, cybersecurity, and DevOps.
- Experience with or exposure to Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line environments and basic system navigation.
- Enjoy solving complex technical problems and exploring new approaches to improving engineering workflows.
- Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn from experienced staff.
Responsibilities
- Support DevOps and cloud infrastructure initiatives.
- Learn and apply Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting.
- Assist in managing platforms like GitLab, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
- Maintain AWS environment and patching activities.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure and operational improvements.
