Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Niagara Falls, NY, onsite. You will evaluate supplier performance, drive quality improvements, and independently manage NCs/CAs and ASL for assigned suppliers while performing audits as needed.

You will ensure Moog requirements are clearly articulated to suppliers, support supplier evaluation and improvement efforts, and perform source inspections when required. A BS in engineering/technical discipline and 3+ years in quality are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of technical experience in a quality role.
• Experience with inspection planning and supplier evaluations.
• Experience with measuring equipment (CMM, surface plates, height gauges, gage blocks).
• AS9100 lead auditor training advantageous.
• Must be able to obtain U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate supplier performance and drive quality improvements.
• Manage NCs/CAs for assigned suppliers including 8D for NOEs.
• Manage ASL for assigned commodities and perform audits as needed.
• Ensure Moog requirements are clearly communicated to suppliers.
• Support supplier evaluation, selection, and performance improvement efforts.
• Perform source inspection/verification as required.
