Job summary

Moog Inc. in Mineral Wells, TX is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to serve as the primary liaison with suppliers, ensuring components meet quality, regulatory, and customer requirements. You will report to the Quality Director and work onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of three years in a manufacturing quality role.
• Experience with supplier quality management, audits, corrective actions, and nonconformance resolution.
• Working knowledge of quality engineering, QA, and inspection methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, approving, and auditing suppliers.
• Monitoring supplier quality performance and scorecards.
• Investigating supplier-related quality issues and driving corrective actions.
• Reviewing FAI reports and qualification documentation.
• Managing supplier nonconformances and material rejections.
• Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
• Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing at supplier sites.
• Performing supplier process and quality system audits.
• Collaborating with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Maintaining supplier quality metrics and reporting performance trends.
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards, specifications, and contractual requirements.
