Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking an FPGA Engineer for our Products line, based in San Diego, CA. You will design and test high-speed FPGA architectures, translate requirements into hardware, and develop embedded Linux-ready solutions for space and national security applications.

Reporting to the VP of Product Design, this onsite role offers relocation support for qualified candidates and a path to contribute to next-generation multi-megapixel camera systems and advanced communications payloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years firmware design, integration & test (preferably with Xilinx).
• Experience implementing and documenting FPGA designs using HDL (VHDL, SystemVerilog).
• Experience with lab equipment; drafting technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Designing and testing high-speed FPGA designs (Xilinx).
• Designing and testing embedded applications using Xilinx Zynq.
• Developing architectures compatible with embedded Linux environments.
• Translating system requirements into FPGA architectures.
• Implementing FPGA designs with HDL (VHDL/SystemVerilog).
• Supporting systems integration and Test Engineering to produce functional designs.
